The Challenge:
Build a modern website for a floral design business that seamlessly integrates a WooCommerce store for floral arrangements, offers dedicated pages for workshops and events, and allows the founder’s unique bio and branding to shine through. The site needed a secure, custom contact form with reCAPTCHA and had to be easy for the client to update as her offerings grew.
The Process:
I began by researching floral and creative e-commerce sites to understand best practices for product presentation, event promotion, and storytelling. Working closely with the client, we mapped out the customer journey—from browsing arrangements to booking a workshop or sending an inquiry. I guided her through refining her brand colors, imagery, and voice so that every page felt uniquely “Original Flower Baby.”
Polished Design: The finished site features a fully integrated WooCommerce shop for easy ordering, dedicated landing pages for workshops and special events, and a custom bio section that highlights the founder’s story and values. The contact page includes a reCAPTCHA-protected form to ensure secure, spam-free communication. Throughout, the design balances elegance and approachability, with floral accents and a calming palette that echoes the brand’s aesthetic.
